Think: gooey, cheesy, sweet–savory little sandwiches you can toss together in 10 minutes and feed a whole Hive.
1 package Hawaiian rolls (12-count)
2–3 cups cooked turkey, shredded or chopped
1 cup shredded cheese (Swiss, provolone, or mozzarella)
1/2–3/4 cup cranberry sauce (jellied or whole-berry)
1/2 cup turkey gravy or mayo (for moisture – optional but delicious)
3 Tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Pinch of salt & pepper
Optional:
Sprinkle of everything bagel seasoning or poppy seeds on top
A few slices of red onion or spinach if your crew will tolerate “green things” 😂
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease or line a 9x13 baking dish.
Slice the rolls in half horizontally (keep them in one big sheet), and place the bottom half in the dish.
Spread a thin layer of gravy or mayo on the bottom buns (optional, but keeps them from drying out).
Layer the good stuff:
Turkey
Spoonfuls of cranberry sauce
Sprinkle the cheese all over
Put the top sheet of rolls back on.
In a small bowl, whisk together:
Melted butter
Dijon
Worcestershire
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Salt & pepper
Brush this all over the top of the rolls. Add bagel seasoning or poppy seeds if using.
Cover with foil and bake for about 15 minutes, then uncover and bake another 5–7 minutes, until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted and happy.
Let them cool a few minutes, then slice and serve. They pull apart super easily.
