Welcome to The Great Buzzy B Little Library Scavenger Hunt!

Your mission is simple: find Little Libraries and neighborhood book-sharing boxes around Southern Colorado, complete challenges, collect points, discover new books and, whenever you can, leave a book behind for the next family to enjoy.

You can complete the hunt in one epic book-filled day or spread it out over several weekends. There is no wrong way to play.

Grab some books. Pack a snack. Pick a route. Let’s go hunting! 🗺️📚

🐝 HOW TO PLAY

Visit Little Libraries throughout Southern Colorado and earn points as you go.

You can start close to home or turn it into a road trip through Castle Rock, Larkspur, Monument, Palmer Lake, Colorado Springs, Black Forest, Falcon, Peyton, Fountain, Woodland Park, Teller County, Cripple Creek and Pueblo.

Keep track of your points, complete as many challenges as you can and see if you can become an Ultimate Buzzy Bookworm!

💕 BEFORE YOU BUZZ OFF...

A few quick reminders:

Respect homes and private property. Park safely and supervise children near streets. Take only a book or two. Bring gently used books that another family would be excited to discover. Avoid leaving damaged, dirty or weather-damaged books. Don't overfill a library. Close the door when you're finished and leave the area as lovely as you found it.

And remember, our cheat sheet is a starting point, not a complete directory. There are registered Little Free Libraries, independently operated neighborhood book boxes and brand-new ones popping up all the time.

That just means there are more adventures waiting to be discovered. 📚🗺️
