All the cozy flavor of apple pieโwithout making an actual pie! These easy roll-ups are perfect for an after-school snack, simple dessert, or sweet weekend breakfast.

Makes: 8 roll-ups
1 tube refrigerated crescent-roll dough
1 large apple, peeled and cut into 8 thin slices
3 tablespoons melted butter
ยผ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
โ teaspoon nutmeg
Optional: caramel sauce or powdered sugar
Preheat the oven to 375ยฐF and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a small bowl.
Separate the crescent dough into eight triangles and brush each one lightly with melted butter.
Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the dough.
Place one apple slice at the wide end of each triangle.
Roll the dough around the apple and place it seam-side down on the baking sheet.
Brush the tops with the remaining butter and add another sprinkle of cinnamon sugar.
Bake for 12โ15 minutes, until puffed and golden brown.
Let them cool for a few minutes, then drizzle with caramel sauce or dust with powdered sugar.
Let the kids assemble their own roll-ups! Add chopped pecans, mini chocolate chips, or a tiny spoonful of caramel before rolling.
